MEET THE CREATOR- IV NURSE

The idea behind IV Nurse was something simple: bring hydration and vitamin infusions to the comfort of your home, office, hotel... wherever you are, IV Nurse will be.  No wait times, no exposure, just ease and relaxation in your environment.

But IV Nurse is more than just hydration and vitamins.  Cristina- the face and brain behind "IV Nurse"- has always been passionate about patient centricity and holistic care.  Her nursing journey began as a translator in 2006 in rural North Carolina.  In 2008 she was one of the few Doulas in town and in 2011, she became licensed as a Certified Nurse Assistant- CNA-I & CNA-II. In 2016 she is accepted into the accelerated English, Bachelor's Nursing Program at the Universidad Intermaricana in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in 2019 she graduates Cum Laude, becomes a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Epsilon Lambda Chapter.  In 2020, during the Covid pandemic, she served as a travel nurse in Roosevelt Island, NY and in 2021 she worked full time in the emergency department of a local hospital in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

Through the midst of the CoVid-19 pandemic, the opportunity arose to expand services and in April 2020 IV Nurse formed a cohort with Laboratorio Clínico Toledo, the only laboratory in Puerto Rico with the ability to perform COVID-19 tests and have PCR results within 24-72 hours.

Cristina's passion for patient care, advocacy and centricity are what makes her (and IV Nurse) amazing.
